Position Overview
As a Full Stack Developer at BlinkPay, you'll focus primarily on frontend development and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services while having opportunities to work across our entire stack. You'll be building modern, responsive web applications using Vue.js 3 and implementing BFF services with Python. While most of your time will be spent on frontend and BFF development, you'll also have the chance to work with our Java/Spring backend systems based on your experience and interest.
The ideal candidate is someone who's comfortable with rapid development cycles, has a strong foundation in modern web technologies, and can adapt to new technical challenges.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development using Javascript/Typescript frameworks like Vue.js 3 and Nuxt
- Design and implement BFF services using Python
- Create clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Integrate with backend services
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience in dynamic environments
- Strong expertise in Vue.js 3, Nuxt, and modern JavaScript
- Proficiency in TypeScript and SCSS for advanced styling
- Experience with Python, particularly in BFF service development
- Experience with REST API design and implementation
- Strong understanding of modern web development practices
- Proficient with Git version control and Bitbucket Pipelines
- Solid problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with Java/Spring Framework backend development
- Knowledge of payment systems or fintech industry
- Understanding of security best practices
- Experience with additional programming languages
- Experience with API testing and documentation
